Let’s talk about vacations this time. What are vacations for you? A relaxing getaway from the mundane life of yours? Pretty much a well-expected answer. However, not everyone is the same and so is their way of escaping their everyday life. Some people find ecstasy in the thrill and adventures of life. That adrenaline rush makes them feel alive and which is why I thought why not awake that adventurous soul to put on his/her travel shoes and explore the adventurous north-east region by engaging in some worthy adventurous activities.
Surely, the north-east region is a home to some of the most breath-taking landscapes including mountains, rivers and lakes, meadows, forests and tea estates. And, so it is a perfect region to indulge in some adventure sports. The endless mountain peaks make it a heaven for all the mountaineers to go for mountaineering and climbing. While the availability of plenty of river spots make it favourable for river rafting and other water sports. The mountain range in northeast India is a combination of snow covered peak and lush green elevations. And trust me, none of them is easy to reach as it may seem to. However, through extensive theoretical and practical training one can live up to his/her dreams of facing the challenging mountain peaks in north-east India. So, it does not matter if you know anything about climbing mountains because there are mountaineering institutes in north-east India which offer various adventure courses from basic mountaineering courses to advanced mountaineering courses.
