Hi,

Train is the safer and faster way to reach jammu, and from there you can get Bus/Taxi for srinagar and from there you can avail taxi upto gulmarg on day booking basis, Gulmarg itself has many attractions like glaciers on its upper areas and you can catch upto glaciers by cable car (gandola).

From from Mumbai to Srinagar you can take direct Flight to Srinagar Airport and from airport he can get a car to Gulmarg . Or you can do onemore thing that is from mumbai to jammu you can take train and from jammu to Gulmarg youcan get the car in jammu . And in Gulmarg there are few points to see and this time when you will see lot of snow .

IT TAKES AROUND 3 HOURS TO REACH GULMARG FROM SRINAGAR, Reaching gulmarg you can enjoy the gandola ride and on upper reaches of gulmarg u would find glaciers and it will take around 6 to 8 hours to see the whole place and I recommend you to stay there for 1 day but if u r running short of time then leave early from srinagar so that you can spend some more time there.
