History of Shanti Stupa

A Japanese monk named Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura and local Buddhists helped build the Shanti Stupa Leh in 1991. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama performed the consecration of the stupa belonging to Lord Buddha within its base.
