History
Located at the Indus river, the Sindhu Ghat holds historical/cultural importance. This ghat was established by Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2000 and thereafter, it was inaugurated by Sh. L.K Advani - the Union Cabinet minister in 2001.
When to Visit Sindhu Ghat
The best time to explore Sindhu Ghat Leh is between May to September when sky is clear and weather is good. It is suggested to visit either in the early morning/late evening for a truly memorable experience.

Reaching Sindhu Ghat is quite easy and straightforward. Leh can be conveniently accessible by air or road. The closest airport is Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, located at the distance of approx. 25 Kilometers from the ghat.
