By Plane

Most travelers prefer to visit Lachung by flight because it is the fastest way to get there. The closest airports are Pakyong airport and Bagdogra airport. Once you arrive at the airport, you can hire a shared cab/private taxi to Gangtok. Stay in Gangtok overnight -> then, travel to Lachung by road the next morning.

By Train

The nearest railway station in Lachung is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. From the railway station, shared cabs and taxis are easily available to Gangtok. Then, you can continue your journey to Lachung by shared/private vehicle.

By Road
