Itinerary
Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (120 Kms | 4 Hrs.)
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station, after greetings proceed to Gangtok, at an altitude of 5500ft.Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day is free to spend on your leisure. You could explore the famous MG Marg (on your own) this time. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok | Tsomgo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu-La Pass (Optional)
After a wholesome breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a visit to the famous Tsomgo Lake. Shaped like an oval, the lake is located 40 km away from the city of Gangtok and has an elevation of about 3,780 m above sea level. Apart from its breathtaking scenic beauty, the lake is also famous for housing the Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds. Following this will be a visit to the shrine of the famous Baba Harbhajan Singh, a war hero. The shrine is popularly called the Baba Mandir. Nathu-la Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 Kms and is an optional tour (Strictly subject to availability). (Remains closed on Monday).

Day 3: Enjoy the panoramic view on your drive from Gangtok to Lachung (120 Kms | 5 Hrs.)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Lachung ( 6 Hrs.), surrounded by snow-capped peaks. On the way, you will drive through the beautiful sightseeing of Butterfly WaterFalls, Dikchu Dam & Naga Waterfalls. Do stop on this highway for ‘sikkimese’ lunch.( own your own). Reach Lachung by evening. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4: From Lachung to Yumthang Excursion, Zero Point (Optional) & then a driver back to Gangtok
ost early morning breakfast, proceed to Yumthang Valley, which is Known as the Valley of Flowers (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1-2 hours one way) and Zero Point, further up and about 23 kms from Yumthang at an altitude of over 15,000 ft is the place Zero Point (also known as Yume Samdong). On the way back, visit Hot spring, considered to have medicinal properties. Have lunch & move to Gangtok. En-route visit Singhik View point. Upon arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 5: Gangtok City Tour
After your breakfast this morning, you will start your journey to explore Gangtok's Local Spots. Start for a Full day city tour covering Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Bakthang Waterfall, Ropeway, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-Dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. In the evening, return to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 6: Gangtok | Pelling & Half-Day Sightseeing (130 Kms | 5 Hrs.)
After a wholesome breakfast, the journey shall be started to Pelling, The town is adorned with monasteries and nature's mystique. The sight of Himalayan peaks from this town is unforgettable. On a clear day you can catch the sight of the third largest peak of the world (Kanchenjunga). Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & then visit Rimbi waterfalls, Sky-Walk, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins & Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7: Pelling | Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station
Will enjoy the sunrise view of Mighty Kanchanjunga peaks, later have breakfast and leave for Siliguri for your onward journey. Your arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station will mark the end of the trip.

I would like to convey my sincere thanks to Kiomoi Tours and Travels and especially Mr. Suman Pundir Ji, for that fabulous experience of Gangtok and North Sikkim from 2nd october 2019 to 6th october 2019 for 4 persons including me. Thank you for arranging it smoothly. I was little bit disappointed with the hotel facilities in Gangtok, where as, when it comes about Lachung, the hotel and hospitality were quite appreciable. The sightseeing in north sikkim was truly mesmerized.

Im from AP, vizag. Approached Kiomoi to plan a trip for us to sikkim,( about which v don't have any idea except its pleasant climate), in August to Darjeeling, Pelling and gangtok for 7 days n 6 nights. Everything was well planned in all prospects, weather, schedule, accomodation, transport, etc. All rooms were above the standards. I suggest whoever looking forward for a cheap n best travels approach Kiomoi.
