Bhuj is the Administrative Headquarters of the Kutch District in Gujarat. On the eastern side of Bhuj, known as Bhujia Hill, lies the Bhujia Fort that separates the city and Madhapar. This town is considered to be the richest town in Asia in terms of bank deposits. The area has two lakes which are Hamirsar and Deshadsar.
