Located on Shillong - Cherrapunji road in Meghalaya, the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View is also known as Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge Viewpoint. It is one of the top tourist places to visit in Cherrapunji. Built by the Forest Department, one has to walk down a number of steps to reach the viewpoint. Most Tourists get the first view of the Mawkdok Dympep Valley, which extends right up to Cherrapunji, from this viewpoint. Getting a clear view is a matter of chance as mostly it is obscured by clouds.
A viewpoint for the Mawkdok Dympep Valley is the Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge, which provides a splendid panoramic view of the Valley. This untouched and unexplored pristine valley gives a surreal experience of nature to its visitors. One can take photographs here by wearing the traditional Khasi Dresses. Also, don’t forget to try the Zip-lining activity at the viewpoint, which provides an awesome experience like none other.
