K2 is higher than Kanchenjunga. K2, also known as Mount Godwin-Austen, is the second-highest mountain in the world with an elevation of 8,611 meters (28,251 feet). Kanchenjunga is the third-highest, standing at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet). Both mountains are part of the Himalayas, but K2 is located on the China-Pakistan border, while Kanchenjunga lies between India and Nepal.
