Air Force Museum

This attraction forms a part of the Indian Air Force's Eastern Command in Shillong. Paying a tribute to the glorious past of the defense of our nation, it is a tourist spot for both adults and kids. Here one can get information about the country’s defense forces, mostly the Indian Air Force, valiant flying warriors, and defense history. Situated in the Upper Shillong zone, this gallery has pictures of the Indo-China War and Indo-Pakistan War. The museum has a special section that houses a collection of several musical instruments. Visitors can also see Python's skin in the museum. The museum additionally displays outfits worn by the aviation based armed forces pilots, rockets, and smaller than usual models of air-creates, alongside different things at the exhibit. You can even get some incredible trinkets as a souvenir at a shop in the complex. Indians need to submit ID proofs at the entry gate to enter the museum. Foreigners are not allowed to this museum.
