The Sound & Light Show light up the evenings of the enchanting Golconda fort 11 km west of Hyderabad city. It takes you right back in time, narrating Golconda`s history glory and grandeur. The Show is conducted in English, Hindi, and Telegu.

Cellular Jail, Port Blair
An hour sound and Light show in the evenings at the notorious Cellular Jail in Port Blair is remarkable for its sheer evocative power. It takes the spectators on a poignant journey back in time. Cellular Jail`s dubious history is narrated with an old banyan tree taking the center stage. Through this mute witness, the narrative recounts the tales of ferocious atrocity, sordid end of Indian freedom fighters who languished in the confines of the four walls of the dingy cells.

Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Madurai
Thirumalai Nayakar Palace is situated 2 km southeast of Meenakshi Amman Temple in the temple town of Madurai. It is one of the important palaces to be built by Thirumalai Nayaakar in 1636 AD. The newly-digitized Sound and Light shows are held here in the evenings in both Tamil as well as English narrating the story of Silappathikaram. 

Chandragiri Fort, Tirupati
12 km from Tirupati and about 54 km from Chittoor town lie Chandragiri, the last capital of the famed Vijayanagara Kings. The remains of the lower fort contain two palaces namely Raja Mahal and Rani Mahal. To narrate the tales of this once grandiose fort a sound and light and sound show is organized inside the precincts of the fort in English and Hindi.

Victoria Memorial, Kolkata
At Victoria Memorial in Kolkata son-et-Lumiere is held every day in the evenings. The show in both Bengali and English is titled Pride & Glory - the Story of Calcutta, which depicts Kolkata?s past and present and its unique cultural heritage.

Khajuraho Temples, Khajuraho
With the Son-et-Lumiere, the daily evening Sound and Light Show at Khajuraho`s millennium-old temples take on an added glitz. The spectacular narration of the life and times of the Chandela rulers by Amitabh Bachchan takes on the creators of the magnificent temples of Khajuraho along with other interesting stories related to the temple.

Gwalior Fort, Gwalior
The impressive Gwalior fort is 3km long lies north of the Gwalior city, on top of a hill. Sound and light show takes place in the evening at Man Mandir Palace to the left of the Elephant Gate as you enter the fort. The narration is by Amitabh Bachchan in his trademark baritone. Ravishankar?s Sitar tunes also add to the attraction.

Chittaurgarh Fort, Chittorgarh
Every evening the ramparts of Chittaurgarh fort comes alive with the Sound and Light Show. The show lasting 58 minutes, in both English and Hindi, blended with the Rajasthani folk music touches the history of Chittaur. Starting with the 6th century King Chitrangada who scouting for a safe land for his capital chose Chittaur, the valor of Bappa Rawal, beauty and exemplary sense of pride of Rani Padmini, the versatility of Rana Kumba, the Krishna Bhakti of Meera, treacherous plan for killing young Udai Singh and exemplary sense of duty and sacrifice by Panna Dhai et al are all narrated in an engaging style. braveheart.

City Palace, Udaipur
Son-et-Lumiere show at the City Palace`s Manek Chowk in Udaipur draws on the dynasty`s 1,500-year-old history. The spectacle of voices and visuals narrates the history of Mewar from the days of its founding father Bappa Rawal to time of the establishment of Udaipur in the 16th century. The show running for 1 hour is in both Hindi and English.

Lal Quila, Delhi
The Son et Lumiere or the Sound and Light Show at Red Fort in Delhi is purportedly the first such initiative in the Asian continent started way back in 1965. The show is both Hindi and English highlighting particular phases of Delhi`s history is held here in the evenings. The cacophony of Meena Bazaar, the waters of the Yamuna, the advancing horses of Nadir Shah all come alive in this engaging audiovisual.
