Maniakaran, Himachal Pradesh
Manikaran, at 1829 m above MSL is famous for its Hot Springs. The water here is said to contain high dose of Uranium and radioactive minerals besides Sulphur. The temperature of the water is above the boiling point. One can have a bath here within the premises of a Gurudwara and two other privately-owned tanks. Manikaran is 70 km from Manali.
Vajreshwari, Maharashtra
Vajreshwari located at the foot of Mandakini Mountain has several Hot Springs strewn across Vajreshwari, Akloli, Ganeshpuri and Satvalli. The temperature of the hot springs here varies from 43 to 49 degree C. At the hot springs in Vajreshwari there is a provision of hot springs baths in exclusive and closed baths known as "Kothawalla Baths".
Bakreshwar, West Bengal
