Munnar Mela

During the recent Mela in the month of April 6-13th, Munnar recorded a sharp rise in active the participation of Munnar Hotels and Resort Association (MHRA) members. In the admissions of Dileep Pottamkullam, MHRA chief, the participation was with a cause--After what has transpired in the past year in Munnar with the demolition drive, it became very important for the MHRA to plan an image building exercise. Today every tour operator across India are apprehensive of the status of resorts and hotels in Munnar, due to which there is a sharp fall in the tourist inflow to Munnar this season. Associating with the Munnar Mela is the beginning of many such activities in the near future. We will also take part in all domestic travel marts across India and also organize an exclusive Travel Mart for Munnar this year.
