All these places which you want to vist are around solapur. since all these places are basically near to solapur and primarily pilgrimmage places they do not have very good accomodation facility so make solapur your base there are decent hotels around

Solapur from where you can visit pandharpur .disstance from Solapur to Pandharpur is about 72 km.Distance from Pandharpur to Tuljapur is about 45 km.

Akkalkot is about 45 kms from here and Gangapur another about 50 kms from Akkalkot. Railway connect is also superb from Solapur. siddheswar temple is in solapur itself.The temple, situated in the middle of the lake, is picturesque; with a backdrop of the Bhuikot fort looming behind it.

Siddheshwara Temple:- Apart form the main lingam of lord Shiva, there are temples of various other gods in the temple complex which is considerably huge. The Siddharameshwar Trust looks after the maintenance of the temple, and it is doing a good job. The temple itself is well maintained and clean, when there are crowds, there is a good queue system wherein men and women enter the sanctum sanctorum separately, and they have a shop where they sell books relating the templeÂ’s history and photographs. We came away quite impressed, and today, one of the most prominent photographs in my puja room is of the Siddheshwar temple.

Solapur is the nearest big city to both Pandharpur and Tuljapur.There are no other places which you can see in Tuljapur apart from the temples. For hotels you can contact Kiomoi.

You need to take a train to solapur from where Tuljapur is only 45km which you can cover by bus or cab. you need to come to pune from solapur by train and take a toursit bus to have a trip to
mahableshwar which is 120km from pune via satara wai panchgani.

The daily worship takes place in four separate sel'slops. The first is in the early morning when the Nvipc the face and the feet of the goddess with a wet cloth. Then this cloth is squeezed and the drops of water that conic out of it are distributed as tirth to those present. Immediately after this wash the devi is served with a break- fast consisting of bread and some vegetables. The afternoon worship is the main puja and is of sixteen upacharas including 'pancharnrita snana'.

In the evening, arati with incense is the main feature, and the We evening worship is known a Prakshalana-puja. This routine is altered on certain days of the year when the alamkaTa-mahapuja is performed. The Gudi Padva (Chaitra), Shiral-shashthi (Shravan), Lalita-panchmi
(Ashvin), Bali-pratipada (Kartika), Makara-samkrant (Pausha), and Ratha-saptami (Magha) are some of the days that occasion the alamkara-maha puja. The ornaments that the shrine has
are of numerous varieties and as such each occasion of such an alamkara-mahapuja is worth seeing. If any visitor to the shrine wishes to witness this alamkara- mahapuja on days other than those mentioned above, he has to pay extra charges. The rates for these pujas begin
with one rupee and go up to ten and there are five types of pujas which are normally exhibited for the visitor.

The main temple at tuljapur is bhavani temple the temple of godess shakti.

BhavaniTemple at Tuljapur:-The Bhavani temple in Tuljapur is located on a hill known as Yamunachala, on the slopes of the Sahayadri range in Maharashtra near Sholapur. The temple entrance is at an elevation and visitors need to transcend a flight of steps to reach the shrine.

Bhavani is worshipped in the form of a three foot high granite image, with eigh arms holding weapons, bearing the head of the slain demon Mahishasura. Bhavani is also known as Tulaja, Turaja, Tvarita and Amba.

Legend also has it that Bhavani vanquished another demon who had taken the form of a wild buffalo (Mahisha), and took abode on the Yamunachala hill, which is now home to the temple.

Four worship services are offered each day here. The festivals of significance here are Gudi Padva in the month of Chaitra, Shriral Sashti, Lalita Panchami, Makara Sankranti and Rathasaptami. The deity is taken out in procession on Tuesdays. Navaratri is also celebrated with great fanfare, and it culminates in Vijaya Dasami.

There are no hotels for stay at Tuljapur you can have a Darshan and Pooja and come to sholapur which is just 45 min distance and you can stay in any hotels near bus stand all are budget hotel. Being a pilgrimmage place people dont stay overnight at tuljapur.

It will be better for you to take a train to sholapur from pune and take bus from sholapur to tuljapur.There is no train Between pune and tuljapur. you have to take a train for solapur then from there you have to go by bus it takes 45min by bus from solapur to tuljapur.

About the trains betweet puna ans solapur:-

1) Intercity Hutaatma its passanger train(two times in a day).
2) Udyan Express
3)Sadhshwer Express

It takes four hours from poona to solapur by train, it takes five hours from poona to solapur by bus..
there are some good direct buses from poona to tuljapur which you can take from swargate and it takes six hours.

Dear Mohan,

There is no direct bus service between tuljapur and pandharpur both are in opposite direction from sholapur from where you can take MSRTC bus to visit both. Pandharpur is about 30 kms from Sholapur, the big city there, on the road to Pune . You can use the Maharashtra state bus system but most likely won't get a bus direct to Tuljapur from there. It would be very easy to do a nexus on Sholapur though as Tuljapur is only 45 kms from Sholapur in the Osmanabad district. i hope you will have good darshan of tuljapur and pandharpur.

And above this maharashtra road transport runs buses to solapur. You can take a train from kolhapur to solapur. From solapur tuljapur well known for the temple of Tulja bhavani is only 45 km you can also visit pandharpur,gaganapur and akkalkot

Dear Prem Tuljapur is 45km from solapur and from solapur you can board a train to nashik road thats the most convinient option .

Alternatively you can take a travel by road you  distance is 445km. It will be more appropriate for you to travel by train.

By road Dhule to solapur which is the big city connecting tuljapur is 467 km. you can come by road or train to solapur and from  solapur Tuljapur is just 45km away. You can check in any hotel in solapur and visit Tuljapur, akkalkot, gagnapur and pandharpur all are in the vicinity of solapur. Trains or road both are equal in distance.
