Itinerary
Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (120 Kms | 4 Hrs.)
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway station, after greetings proceed to Gangtok, at an altitude of 5500ft. Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & rest of the day is free to spend on your leisure. You could explore the famous MG Marg (on your own) this time. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake - Baba Mandir - Nathu-La Pass (Optional)
Gangtok | Tsomgo Lake | Baba Mandir | Nathu-La Pass (Optional) After a wholesome breakfast in the morning, you will leave for a visit to the famous Tsomgo Lake. Shaped like an oval, the lake is located 40 km away from the city of Gangtok and has an elevation of about 3,780 m above sea level. Apart from its breathtaking scenic beauty, the lake is also famous for housing the Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds. Following this will be a visit to the shrine of the famous Baba Harbhajan Singh, a war hero. The shrine is popularly called the Baba Mandir. Nathu-la Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 Kms and is an optional tour (Strictly subject to availability). (Remains closed on Monday).

Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling
After having your breakfast this morning, you will be taken to Darjeeling from Gangtok. All the way, you will be accompanied by the magical beauty of the Himalayas and the beautiful views of the valleys. Do not forget to click pictures of the amazing snow covered peaks and the green hills. Reach Darjeeling and check-in to the hotel, where you will have the evening free to spend on your leisure. You can explore (on your own) the absolute delight of the mall road in Darjeeling.

Day 4: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

I booked my trip gauhati, shillong through kiomo. It is nice arrangements and driver Alex swargiary is very cooperative. Entire trip went trip went very peaceful except two shortfalls. One is the hotel Rajendra residency is not proper parking or good locality though it is near to market. Second major issue is we couldn't get the special darsan tickets of mata khamakya in Gauhati as the Assamese Bishoo festival , temple was crowded heavily. Hence Without darshan we returned back . I feel kiomoi should bring these issues to customers notice.

The tour to gauhathi,chirapunji caves,shillong,and khazirang national park was very fantastic,we also enjoyed Assam dances at orchid garden along with shopping,rooms were very good ,even transport and driver was very cooperative.million thanks to Rahul panday for organising trip for us
